Tribute to CECILA Ma’am

Once every season comes the east wind, a saviour, a ray of light. It breathes life into the dead, nurtures the blossoms and nature revels in joy. Don Bosco school is blessed with the presence of a person who like the wind radiates happiness. Her dedication inspires us; a
quarter of a century is something outstanding. Her grace and unrestricted kindness makes you wonder, ‘Can human-beings still be so good.’ Yes I am talking about ‘La Alchemist’ , the evergreen Cecilia ma’am who has completed a milestone of 25 years in our school…..

In this cruel world, where young minds are engulfed with visions of uncertainty, burden of curriculum and swords of expectations, ma’am has been a source of courage and strength. She has never hesitated in changing roles, from a teacher to a friend, a guide and a protector. She has always been very understanding, concerned and never dismissive. Her constant efforts to connect with her students makes her special and greatly loved.

Ma’am we owe you a lot. We would like to wish you the best in life.

Tribute to ALICE Ma’am

Ode to a Mother

What a piece of work is man, how noble in reason,
How infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable,
In action how like an angel,
In apprehension, how like a God!

When Shakespeare penned down these lines in ‘Hamlet’, he knew that there would be many men and women who would perfectly fit this role.

The teacher I speak of has got the whole world in her hands, not just because she is a Geography teacher. Alice Ma’am has taught us about different gemstones and other valuable metals but she herself is an invaluable gem to all of us and the school. Under her we’ve made the transition from little brats to responsible boys. She was always there for us; tough times or not.
She has been not only a great teacher, but also a wonderful mentor, guru, and especially a mother.
She has been like the Sun and shadows for us.

Like the Sun she has enlightened us with her knowledge, humility and given us an ember of her love.
Like the shadows, we have been under her shade protected by every evil, so that we may become men of noble hearts.
Today as we felicitate you for 25 years of selfless service in the duties of this great institution, we want to thank you for defining our contours of our own life with the beauty and grace of Nature’s abundance.
