A cultural extravaganza that  spanned 3 days and saw 1000 students performing on stage. Principal Fr.Babu Varghese had envisioned a programme that spelt the beauty of human endeavour and the class of cohesion in a series of small playlets, dances solos and 2 choirs.

‘ Utsav is about knowing that we can  touch new horizons and create moments of great joy and excellence in all that we strive for, ’ said he in his address aptly termed ‘Madhur Pal’.All the 3 days had comperes from different classes. The seniors  attired in suits looked like perfect gentlemen, and delivered their introductions with ease and flair. If the tiny tots of Pre Primary wowed with their Sufi costumes and the lungi dance, then Class 1` served up a fascinating Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Class 2 created a wonderful story of The Selfish Giant. Classes 4 and 5 revved up with dances and commentaries and a panoramic look at India’s diversity.

The soloists of the senior school held crowds spellbound with their mellifluous voices and the 2 choirs held sway with inspirational secular songs that warmed the human heart. Other than the zesty Bhangra Dance there was also the Ankur School Dance, the Western dances and modern dance moves that hit the stage, but it was the Ganpati Dance that stole hearts with its brisk effervescence and its pulsating rhythms.

Fr.Babu gave senior teachers 3 plots for little playlets and they were performed by students as well as teachers. Bachon ki Nazron Mein and Do Fauji and School Chalo were short skits that drew tremendous applause. On the final day 30th November the Education Director Ms.Renu Sharma came and congratulated the students and teachers for their enthusiasm and their beautiful energy and their collaboration. The Principal Fr.Babu presented her with a stole ,a souvenir and thankfulness for her presence. For all of the students Bosco Utsav became a celebration and an affirmation of human talents and the enriching effect of hard work and vision under a Principal who wants to tread on new pathways of excellence.
