A wise man once said “Great Leaders don’t tell, they guide”. And an integral part of this sacred process in our school is the investiture ceremony. It is a day when a Bosconian is shaped and moulded into a leader who would lead other Bosconians to glory. And such was the investiture ceremony for the office bearers of 2015-16.

It began with the sombre and flawless march by the School Council into the auditorium with Rev: Fr Babu, an exemplary leader himself, leading them.Kartik Shukla presented a brief introduction to set the mood. All the 3 Salesians stepped forward to light the lamp. The lighting of the lamp, was followed by a mellifluous hymn which asked God to bless us, sung by the school choir with Uma Mam. Fr.Sujith our Administrator read out a beautiful passage from the Bible about Jesus and the sheep. The fulcrum of the ceremony was the speech of Rev: Fr Babu, a brilliant discourse on the ethos and true the epitome of leadership, which left all the minds in the auditorium enchanted and spellbound. He instructed the leaders to be good shepherds ,and not to abandon the sheep when the wolf comes hunting.

Motivated and full of enthusiasm, S.Ram Visakh the Head Boy administered the oath of office to the leaders who took their solemn pledge and humbly offered themselves to the service of others. Then the Monitors and the Vice Monitors of various classes also took the pledge of helping their classmates in achieving their goals. In succession were the melodious songs of the choir which left us humming to their tunes. The School Anthem rang through with zest and fervor and Fr.Babu thanked the teachers and the boys. The ceremony had ended in due course of time, but the responsibilities and endeavours of the office bearers had just begun.
