Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, New Delhi is an English medium Catholic School for boys, conducted by the Salesians of Don Bosco. It is an unaided minority Christian Institution, open to children of all communities with a special responsibility for the education of Christians. The School takes special care of the economically and socially weaker sections of the society through its outreach programmes like Ankur-Don Bosco, Don Bosco Ashalayam and Don Bosco Najafgarh. It is recognised by the Directorate of Education, Delhi State and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. (Affiliation No. 2730082).

Don Bosco School has installed the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure complete satisfaction of the students and their parents regarding the holistic education that the school is providing and sensitizing the young minds to the importance of preservation of environment and ecology and conservation of resources.

The method of education followed is the system taught and practiced by Don Bosco- the Preventive System. In this system there is no place for corporal punishment. It is based on conviction, prevention of faults, paternal correction, loving kindness and reverential fear of God. The school strives to provide a high quality education within a safe and caring setting. The family spirit that reigns is characteristic of Don Bosco Schools. There is a strong focus on academics and co-curricular activities. A wide range of extra-curricular opportunities are provided including the experience of organizing and participating in inter-school tournaments & competitions.
