BOSCO SYMPHONY (VII – XII)

The much-awaited Bosco Symphony 2025, for classes VII to XII, was celebrated with immense pride and joy on Saturday, 27 September 2025, embracing the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: The World Is One Family. The evening commenced with the lighting of the lamp by our esteemed Chief Guest, former Member of Parliament, Mr. Ajoy Kumar, Guest of Honour Ms. Uma Nair, The Director and Manager, Rev.Fr. Binny Issac, the Principal, Rev. Fr. Sujith Augustine and the senior teacher from the Department of English, Ms Karuna Makkar, solemnly illuminating the start of the celebrations.

 

 

Director and Manager, Rev. Fr. Binny Isaac delivered the formal Welcome Address, setting a meaningful tone, followed by an enchanting Welcome song by the Western Choir. The Chief Guest, Mr. Kumar was warmly felicitated by the Director and Manager, Rev. Fr. Binny Isaac and the Principal, Rev. Fr. Sujith Augustine. The Chief Guest’s address inspired the audience to always keep the sunshine pouring in. A meaningful AV Presentation celebrated 200 years of ‘Don Bosco’s Preventive System’. 

The Principal, Rev. Fr. Sujith Augustine then presented the Principal’s Report, outlining the key achievements and progress of the past months. The Guest of Honour, Ms. Uma Nair’s speech was nothing short of an eloquent inspiration to strive for the best…the Bosconian way!

​The cultural program was a magnificent spectacle, centered around the theme of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: The World Is One Family. Highlights included the mesmerising play, Chronicles of Fledgling Little’ celebrating global unity, a harmonizing   performance by the Indian Choir and a stirring Dance presentation dedicated to freedom and peace. The function concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr Mathew Thomas followed by the entire assembly rising to sing the school’s inspiring Anthem, ‘Ever More and Better Ever,’ a masterpiece composed by Ms. Uma Nair. The event was a vibrant showcase of talent, discipline and the school’s unifying ethos.
