BOSCO SYMPHONY (KG-II)

The much-awaited Annual Day celebrations – Bosco Symphony 2025, for the students of Kindergarten to Class II, was held on 25 September 2025 in the school auditorium of Don Bosco School Alaknanda, with great pomp and splendour. The theme of the programme was “Incredible India”. The young Bosconians presented a captivating journey showcasing the rich cultural diversity and heritage of our motherland -India.

The school was privileged to welcome Dr. Aseem Gulati, a renowned doctor and a proud alumnus of the school, as the Chief Guest for the evening. The Guest of Honour was Rev. Fr. Kuriakose.  The programme commenced with the solemn lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the spreading of knowledge. This was followed by the Welcome Address delivered by the Director and Manager, Rev. Fr. Binny Isaac.

The western school choir set the perfect ambience of the evening with a melodious Welcome Song, after which the felicitation of the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour was conducted by Rev. Fr. Binny Issac, the Director and Manager and Rev Fr. Sujith Augustine, the Principal of the school.

The cultural presentations began with the students of Kindergarten, who enthralled the audience with a vibrant and colourful performance titled Nrityanjali: A Tribute to Folk Heritage, depicting folk dances from different states of India.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Aseem Gulati, addressed the august gathering and inspired the audience with his words of wisdom and fond memories as an alumnus of the school.

This was followed by an Action Song Sparkles of Happiness, performed joyfully by the Kindergarten students.

The students of Class I then presented a spectacular symphony of movement and expressions through the various folk dances and traditions of India titled Folk Tapestry: A Celebration of Indian Dance and Traditions, which was applauded with much appreciation. Thereafter, the School Report was presented by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Sujith Augustine, highlighting the achievements and progress of the institution.

The next enthralling presentation was showcased by the students of Class II, who performed on the theme Unity in Diversity. The enthusiastic students depicted the celebration of various Indian festivals, culminating in a soulful rendition of Vande Mataram, signifying the message of unity and strength in togetherness.

To conclude the cultural segment, the school choir captivated the gathering with a soulful song based on the theme of the day, Incredible India.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Rev. Fr. Bimal Marcus, the Administrator, followed by the reverberating notes of the School Anthem.

The Annual Day celebration, Bosco Symphony 2025 was indeed a memorable event, leaving behind a message of cultural pride, unity, and joy and a smile of delight on the faces of the proud parents.
