Junior School Investiture Ceremony

Leadership is a journey of continuous learning and growth and lies not in the pursuit of power, but in the service of others. It involves navigating through challenges with courage as the compass and collaboration as the sail, towards progress and achievement.
On April 30, 2024, Don Bosco School Auditorium, resonated with the spirit of leadership as we gathered for the Junior School Investiture Ceremony. This auspicious occasion marked the formal induction of our newly elected student council members, who have been entrusted with the noble responsibility of leading their peers with resilience, determination, and unwavering dedication.
The ceremony commenced with a sense of reverence as the students of Class III presented a prayer dance, invoking blessings for the journey ahead. Illuminating the path of leadership, the lighting of the lamp symbolized enlightenment and guidance for our young leaders.
Amidst an atmosphere charged with enthusiasm, the procession of our newly elected council members, led by our esteemed Principal, Rev. Fr. Hemlet Kujur, and Administrator, Rev. Fr. Anup Minj, marked the beginning of a remarkable journey.
Following a moment of prayer and a spirited question-answer session, the solemnity of the occasion deepened as the newly elected council members took their oath of office. Administered by our Principal, Rev. Fr. Hemlet Kujur, this oath symbolized their commitment to uphold the values of integrity, empathy, and excellence in all their endeavors.
In recognition of their newfound roles, the council members were adorned with sashes and badges by our Principal, Rev. Fr. Hemlet Kujur and Administrator Rev. Fr. Anup Minj. Subsequently, the monitors and vice-monitors of classes III to V took their oath under the guidance of the Junior School Head-Boy, Neil Bardhan, pledging to work diligently and uphold the honor and glory of our esteemed institution. They were then presented with their badges by Rev. Fr. Hemlet Kujur and Rev. Fr. Anup Minj. The ceremony culminated with the resonant rendition of a hymn and a vote of thanks by the Head boy. The solemn ceremony concluded with singing of the school anthem “Ever More and Better Ever.”
