The Investiture Ceremony for Juniors of Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, was held on 29th July 2025 with great pride and enthusiasm. The event commenced with a warm introduction by the emcees, highlighting the importance of leadership, responsibility, and service in school life.
The newly elected student council participated in a solemn processional march, showcasing discipline and dignity. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of a new era of student leadership. A short AV presentation on leadership was shown followed by the prayer of petition.
Our esteemed Principal, Rev. Fr. Sujith Augustine addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, urging the council members to lead with integrity, humility, and dedication. A short round of preliminary questions to the leaders added a refreshing, engaging element to the ceremony.
The core part of the event was the oath-taking ceremony, where the School Council, Monitors, and Vice Monitors pledged their commitment to their roles. They were then conferred with sashes and badges by our Principal, Rev. Fr. Sujith Augustine and Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Ashok Ekka as a symbol of their duties and responsibilities.
A motivational song presented by the school choir uplifted the spirit of the occasion. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Head Boy, followed by the school anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all present.
The ceremony was a memorable occasion that marked the beginning of a promising journey for the young leaders of Don Bosco School.
