The Investiture Ceremony for the Senior School at Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, took place on Friday, 25th July 2025, marking a significant event in the academic calendar. The ceremony began with a processional march by the newly elected Council Members, followed by the lighting of the lamp by our Rector and Director, Fr Binny Isaac, Principal Fr Sujith Augustine, Vice Principal Fr Ashok Ekka, senior teacher, Mr S R Dahiya and Head Boy Ansh Gupta.
The programme included a Scripture Reading by our Administrator, Fr. Bimal and the Prayer of Petition was read by Ms. Reema Joseph.The Principal, Fr. Sujith Augustine addressed the students and highlighted the virtues of Leadership, Resilience and Responsibility. The ceremony continued with the Solemn Promise, an oath administered by the Principal to the newly elected council members, followed by the presentation of badges and sashes. The lighting of the candles, with the song ‘Showers of Blessings’ playing in the background added a spiritual touch, concluded this solemn ceremony with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ms Priyanka Kumar.
