BoscoMUN 2.0, held on July 17 and 18, 2025, at Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, marked a defining moment in the school’s growing commitment to fostering global citizenship and youth diplomacy. Building on the foundation laid by its inaugural edition, the conference welcomed over 200 delegates from a diverse range of institutions, creating a space that balanced intellectual rigor with interpersonal collaboration. Across two dynamic days, participants engaged deeply with some of the most pressing global and national issues, navigating complex simulations designed to mirror real-world diplomacy and policy-making. The event affirmed BoscoMUN’s position as a meaningful, student-led forum in the Delhi MUN circuit
The conference was inaugurated with solemnity and academic depth. The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Himadri Roy, addressed the gathering with a message that underscored the power of youth engagement in shaping international discourse. Fr. Sujith Augustine SDB, Principal of Don Bosco School and Chief Patron of BoscoMUN 2.0, led the ceremonial proceedings and delivered an address that reaffirmed the school’s vision of nurturing thoughtful, socially aware leaders. The ceremonial lamp lighting—led by Principal Fr. Sujith Augustine SDB, Vice Principal Fr. Ashok Ekka, Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Himadri Roy, Secretary-General Ansh Gupta, and Programme Coordinator Ms. Debanjana Sinha Roy—served as a symbolic invocation of knowledge, harmony, and the collaborative spirit that would illuminate the sessions ahead
Committees were chaired and guided by an accomplished Executive Board drawn from the wider Delhi MUN circuit. Their presence brought an added layer of professionalism and mentorship to the proceedings. Beyond procedural oversight, Board members played a formative role in helping delegates think critically, develop layered arguments, and build consensus. Their mentorship was central to the intellectual atmosphere that distinguished BoscoMUN 2.0 from typical student conferences
The conference concluded with a formal closing ceremony celebrating both participation and excellence. Delegates were recognised through a structured award framework that included Best Delegate, High Commendation, and Special Mention awards in each committee. The coveted Best School Delegation Trophy was awarded to St. George’s School, in recognition of their outstanding collective performance and consistent engagement across committees. A live musical performance at the close of the ceremony brought warmth and energy to the final moments of the event, reinforcing the camaraderie and community that had taken root over the two days
