INNOVENTURE 2024

The School Innovation Cell, under the able leadership of Mr. Baiju Mathew, Ms. Elizabeth Thomas, Mr. Saiby Mathew, Mr. Robin Singh, and Ms. Reema Joseph, organized an exciting Inter School Start Up Competition, named “InnoVenture 2024” on 31 July’ 24. This event aimed to foster entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking among students, providing a platform to present their business and start up ideas.

The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony that set a tone of anticipation and enthusiasm. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and innovation. Following this, the school’s principal, Rev. Fr. Sujith Augustine SDB delivered a heartfelt address, emphasizing the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in today’s world. The principal’s speech was followed by a felicitation ceremony, where the esteemed guest of honor and judges were honored.

The guest of honor for the day, was Rev. Fr. Binny Isaac SDB, Rector and Manager, Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, who delivered the inaugural address, encouraging our young entrepreneurs to pursue their ideas with passion and determination. This year’s distinguished judges were Mr. Shri Prakash Shukla, Mr. Rajesh Munjal and Mr. Nitin Mathur, who brought their vast expertise and experience to the event.

Out of a competitive pool of 32 entries from schools across Delhi, nine finalists were selected based on the creativity and feasibility of their innovative ideas. These finalists represented the pinnacle of young entrepreneurial talent and competed fiercely on the day of the event, presenting their start-up concepts with confidence and clarity. The judges faced the challenging task of selecting the best three projects from the impressive line-up of finalists. After careful deliberation, the top three teams were awarded with trophies, certificates, and cash prizes worth INR 10,000, recognizing their exceptional talent and potential to bring their ideas to fruition.

First Position: Birla Vidya Niketan

Second Position: Springdales School

Third Position: Mother’s International School / Don Bosco School, Alaknanda

 Innoventure successfully concluded with a sense of achievement and inspiration, leaving all participants and attendees motivated to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. The event not only highlighted the innovative capabilities of the students but also reinforced the significance of nurturing young talent in shaping the future.
