The school celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a deep sense of national pride. The programme commenced with the singing of the Vande Mataram, our national song which filled the gathering with a profound sense of unity and patriotism. It was followed by a melodious patriotic song celebrating the love and unity that bind us together. Our Principal Rev Father Sujith Augustine delivered an inspiring address, urging students to uphold the values of unity, integrity, responsibility and respect for the nation.
The presentation of India’s journey over the years through the acts of ‘Itihas’ and ‘Bhavishya’ added to the mood of celebration. The amalgamation of the act and the ‘Bosco Beats’ performances, certainly made the event more meaningful. The performances of the four houses as part of the Bosco Beats- Inter House Patriotic Dance Competition’ were judged by Mr Bharat Sahni and Father Bimal Marcus. The Green House was declared the winner. The program concluded with the reading of the pledge by our principal followed by the National Anthem. The celebrations left everyone with a renewed sense of patriotism and a profound appreciation for the freedom and responsibilities we enjoy as citizens of India.
