On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, held a heartfelt and dignified farewell ceremony to honour two revered members of its teaching fraternity— Mr. Manuel Lobo, the much-admired Sports teacher whose spirited presence has left a lasting legacy and Ms. Stella Jose, who has served the school with exceptional dedication as a Mathematics and Science teacher.
The event commenced with a solemn introduction and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, signifying the dispelling of darkness through knowledge. A moving presentation, Treasure Trove of Memories, showcased cherished moments from the honourees’ illustrious careers. Students expressed their appreciation through a floral felicitation, accompanied by handmade cards brimming with affection.
Mr. Lobo and Ms. Stella Jose then took to the stage to share their reflections— touching recollections that resonated deeply with all in attendance.
A soul-stirring musical performance by the school choir further enriched the atmosphere, followed by a thoughtful address from our beloved Principal, Fr. Sujith Augustine. The ceremony drew to a close with the rendition of the School Anthem, marking a fitting conclusion to an event that celebrated dedication, mentorship, and enduring bonds.
